Gonja hospital is located in Pare mountains. The best way to go there is by bus from Arusha up to Same 130km on tarmac road and then daladala 60 km to the hospital. The last 10 km is sharp serpentine road to the hospital and the scenery is one of the most beautiful in the country. During heavy rain it may be difficult to pass. The hospital is close to the forest conservation area and there are many nice paths to walk around.
The only way to contact hospital directly is to send a letter. But the staff in diosesis is very helpful and they can answer to many questions.
